Low-voltage halogen lamps are more energy efficient than conventional incandescent lamps. They retain their brilliant light, power and colour throughout their life. The main characteristic of ERCO wallwashers is the highly uniform brightness of the wall. Lens wallwashers have special lens reflection systems to ensure uniform wall illumination. The light is spread by lenses and directed onto the wall by wallwasher reflectors. The Darklight reflectors of the lens wallwashers are visible from below and are glare-free. The Darklight technology combines the maximum visual comfort with the maximum light output ratio.

All the Lightcast lens wallwashers have cast aluminium housings which are designed to provide optimum thermal properties according to their respective technical requirements. Other typical Lightcast features are the cast aluminium mounting ring and the four-point mounting which allows luminaires to be installed without tools. The DALI compatible luminaires feature digitally addressable control gear, which can individually address every single luminaire.
