ERCO Compact 100 Recessed luminaires Introduction

For standard applications, the Compact 100 recessed luminaires are ideal due to their outstanding cost effectiveness. Designed for the ambient lighting of sales and commercial rooms with heights of up to 3m, the Compact 100 luminaires combine economical lighting, quality and visual comfort. The number One Hundred in the name indicates a shallow recess depth of 100mm. In two ways, these luminaires provide ERCO's characteristically high visual comfort which is indicated by a cut-off angle> 30°: either through a microprism lens, which is visible in the ceiling as a light emitting aperture creating subtle luminance, or through the Darklight reflector, which is surrounded by an additional, diffuse light ring.

Darklight technology

ERCO Darklight technology Feature
ERCO Darklight technology Feature

ERCO downlight reflectors are calculated using complex computer programs. This results in the reflectors having consistent cut-off angles for a variety of lamps and aperture sizes. Within the cut-off angle there will be no disturbing glare. This is the characteristic feature of the ERCO Darklight technology. The Darklight technology combines maximum visual comfort with maximum light output ratio and an exceptional balance between horizontal and vertical illuminance.

ERCO Darklight technology Feature

The standard cut-off angle of the ERCO downlight range is 40°; this is the angle between the horizontal ceiling surface and the diagonal from lamp to reflector edge. The standard range is complemented by downlights with 30° and 50° cut-off angles.

Mounting

ERCO Mounting Feature
