Compar Recessed spotlights, recessed floodlights, recessed wallwashers
Compar recessed spotlights offer a combination of innovative lighting technology, intelligent detail solutions and flexible system design for salesrooms. The positionable and rotatable recessed spotlights are fitted with Spherolit technology to provide the highest quality of light. The lighting technology for the light distribution patterns can be replaced without tools making it ideal for different applications. The oval-shaped beam of light is suitable particularly for the efficient illumination of product presentations with large luminaire spacings. Powerful lamps and control gear, precisely tuned to these, contribute to providing cost-effective lighting solutions. The modular mounting ring makes it easy to combine the Compar recessed spotlights with Quintessence luminaires.

The quality of the optical systems has a major influence on the overall efficiency of an LED. To produce directed light, as occurs in spotlights, ERCO develops their optical projection systems in-house. A collimating lens, as a secondary lens, is the interface between the LED lens on the printed circuit board and the exchangeable Spherolit lenses acting as tertiary lenses. The collimating lens directs the light of the LEDs into a parallel beam in order that the required light distribution can then be created by the tertiary lens. The principle of total internal reflection in the collimating lens contributes to the high efficiency of the optical system. Decades of experience in injection-moulded polymers ensure the highest quality levels from our in-house production plant.
The luminaires have clamping mechanisms on the mounting ring, allowing them to be installed quickly and without tools in different ceiling thicknesses. The luminaires can be tilted up to 30° and rotated through 360°.
ERCO´s LED recessed luminaires with control gear are developed, optimised and tested as a unit. This is indicated on the luminaire and control gear labelling with article and serial number. The cable has a ferrite core for optimised electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
When combining LED luminaires with control gear from other sources, components and cables can have the effect of an antenna emitting electromagnetic radiation which may interfere with other electronic equipment or systems. ERCO recessed luminaires with control gear are tested for compliance with current EMC requirements.
Other advantages of ERCO´s recessed ceiling luminaires with control gear include easy handling on the building site and smooth installation. The outer dimensions of the housings and the length of the cables are matched to the size of the ceiling aperture.
