In two ways, these luminaires provide ERCO´s characteristically high visual comfort which is indicated by a cut-off angle > 30°: either through a novel microprism lens, which is visible in the ceiling as a light emitting aperture creating subtle luminance, or through the mirror-finished, four-cell Darklight reflector, which is surrounded by an additional, diffuse light ring.

Compact 100 recessed luminaires are normally fitted with two compact fluorescent lamps. They also contain electronic control gear making them ideal for low operating costs and long service intervals. In addition, the practical construction details of the Compact 100 luminaires include quick connection and mounting without tools, reducing the installation costs.
The DALI-compatible luminaires feature digitally addressable control gear, which can individually address every single luminaire, i.e. using the ERCO Light System DALI and the pre-programmed ERCO Light Studio software.
