Salesrooms place particularly high demands on the lighting: high illuminance levels are the order of the day here and the prime concern is the optimal presentation of the merchandise. Factors such as these have determined the design of the Lightscan wallwasher. Metal halide lamps are used, which have a high luminous flux and very good luminous efficacy. The Lightscan wallwashers produce a focal point on the upper area of the wall. Additional accent lighting can be used, for instance, to highlight displays above shelves with scenic lighting, this greatly increases the scenes available in the overall lighting of the salesroom.
With its rectangular light aperture, the Lightscan wallwasher resembles the Quadra lens wallwasher. But the lighting technology is very different: Quadra lens wallwashers provide uniform, vertical illumination, whereas Lightscan wallwashers with their additional accent are particularly suitable for sales lighting.
