Lighting design often pays little attention to adjoining areas and hallways, e.g. in residential complexes, administrative buildings and hotels or in hospitals and sports centres. The minimum requirements for standard compliant lighting can be fulfilled using the simplest of lighting systems. However, lighting concepts aimed at high visual comfort and a more pleasant ambience often fail because of the luminaire costs. Panarc downlights and corridor luminaires are designed to provide economical and high-quality lighting of such areas.

Due to their wide beam, downlights with flood lenses provide uniform, horizontal ambient lighting, even from wide luminaire spacings. Corridor luminaires with prism lenses, on the other hand, are ideal for hallways. They illuminate both side walls of a hallway from the ceiling down to the floor and thus provide a bright, friendly ambience in the corridor. In addition, there is a recessed version of Panarc with a flush-mounting white plastic diffuser. This is not only suitable for ambient diffuse lighting, but also as a creative architectural feature particularly when arranged in rows or groups. Being designed for long-life, compact fluorescent lamps economic operation is ensured. The solid, splashproof construction and minimal recessed depth or mounting height of only 68mm make Panarc luminaires suitable for use in almost any type of building.
