All mounting rings of the Skim range are manufactured in the "with flushmounted trim detail" version. That means, that mounting rings and luminaires are finally flush-mounted. Installation can only be performed in plasterboard ceilings. Make an installation aperture according to the diameter of the mounting ring. Select the correct slot for the actual ceiling thickness on the mounting ring (ceiling thickness 12.5 to 25mm). Lift the mounting ring into the ceiling cut-out and insert the supplied supporting bracket into the chosen slot.

Mark the position of the angle bracket onto the ceiling from below. Screw the ceiling panel and bracket together with the dry wall screws supplied. Fill the cavity between the mounting ring and the ceiling aperture with appropriate filler. After finishing the ceiling, then install the Skim luminaire and make the electrical connection.
