Downlights

Arrangement of downlights depends on the design criteria.

A regular grid is recommended for uniform, horizontal illumination.

The guide value for the grid size (d) is the luminaire height (h) above the working plane.

The offset of the luminaire from the wall (a) is recommended to be half the module of the grid (d).

Washlights

Offset from wall a: intersection of the 20° line with the ceiling plane

Luminaire spacing (d) equal to the offset from wall (a) for uniform wallwashing.

Lower luminaire spacing in high rooms

The separate reflector is positioned opposite the wall being illuminated
