Quadra recessed spotlights feature a double-sided, reversable mounting frame that enables two different types of installation. The recessed luminaire can be mounted in the usual fashion, with the mounting frame overlapping the cut-out in the ceiling concealing any irregularities.

Alternatively, flipping over the mounting frame gives the plaster trim profile "with trim detail flush with the ceiling"; this side allows the frame to be plastered flush into plasterboard ceilings. The position of the fixing brackets can be adjusted to suit all common ceiling panel thicknesses. This innovation in the mounting of recessed luminaires enables architecturally pleasing, filigree installations.
