ERCO Parscan for 2-circuit track Introduction

The design of the Parscan range is defined by a basic, plain cylindrical shape. Its functional characteristics include integrated accessories and easy locking of the movement axes. The minimalist shape is suited for situations in which the luminaire should appear as unobtrusive as possible - such as in museums or places of worship. Tilt and rotational angle can be locked by turning a single clamping screw to prevent accidental changes to the aim of the luminaire during re-lamping. If the spotlight is directed vertically downwards as a downlight, the support bracket merges into the cylindrical shape. The system design of the Parscan range also includes versions with cross-baffles for improved visual comfort.

Depending on the spotlight type, the front section of the housing is designed as a cylinder with either an anti-dazzle ring, an anti-dazzle ring with an anti-dazzle screen or a wall-washer lens. This section is removed to replace the lamp. A safety cord connects the two-part cylinder and makes lamp replacement easier.

Locking

ERCO Locking Feature

The small "lock" screw on the Parscan spotlight simultaneously locks both the rotation and the tilt of the luminaire with a single turn. This firstly simplifies the locking of new luminaire positions where luminaires are frequently rearranged and secondly, and especially with wallwashers, it ensures the aim of the luminaire remains unchanged when the lamp is replaced, thus retaining the quality of the lighting concept. This detail fits inconspicuously within the luminaire housing's cantilever bracket.
