Eclipse for track
Eclipse is a system with a strictly modular design. The technical construction of Eclipse is reminiscent of a medium format single-lens reflex camera. Similar to the camera lenses, the luminaire heads are interchangeable, thereby allowing the light intensity distribution to be altered to suit different lighting tasks. The advantages of the low-voltage technology are obvious: brilliant light with excellent colour rendition. In addition, the compact, virtually pinpoint light source allows an exact focused beam for wattages of up to 100W using computer-designed facet reflectors.
Luminaire heads are available with spot and flood reflectors for capsule lamps and with beam angles that are largely adapted to suit the values of conventional low-voltage reflector lamps. These low-voltage halogen capsule lamps are economical to replace. Amongst the wide range of accessories are anti-dazzle attachments, lenses, colour filters and filters to reduce IR and UV radiation. The entire Eclipse range of luminaires was designed by the Italian architect and designer Mario Bellini.
