Spotlights

The coloured high-power LEDs and the DALI technology enable the Optec varychrome spotlight to be used for dynamic colour mixing. The varychrome LED luminaires have a colour compensation feature to correct the LED manufacturing tolerance. The spotlights with white LEDs are available in daylight white or warm white for Spot and Flood. Low-voltage halogen lamps up to 100W/12V can be used. Spot or flood reflectors and Spherolit wide flood reflectors are available. Various shapes house the different sizes of the electronic transformers. Potentiometers for brightness control are available. With metal halide lamps of up to 150W, the electronic control gear units are housed on the side. Both spot, flood and wide flood reflectors are available. A version with metal halide lamps of 70W is also available with DALI technology. The range is completed with high-pressure sodium vapour lamps up to 100W. In general, the luminaire cover is designed as an anti-dazzle ring onto which a mounting ring is fitted for accessories.

Very narrow to wide beam, rotationally symmetrical light distribution for accent lighting in shop windows, sales areas as well as exhibitions, multifunction rooms and in private residences.

Luminaire arrangement

Angle of tilt: 30° for vertical illuminance

Sculpture lens pattern: horizontal for the illumination of vertical objects

Sculpture lens pattern: vertical for uniform wall illumination

Luminaire spacing: depends on the texture of the wall surface and on the required uniformity of the lighting

Floodlights

Floodlights with a basic triangular shape are manufactured from aluminium profile and powder-coated white or silver. Compact fluorescent lamp versions up to 2x18W are fitted with a louvre. Versions for metal halide lamps up to 70W are available. There is a version for 35W metal halide lamps suitable for DALI control technology.

Wide beam, axially symmetrical light distribution for background lighting in shop windows and exhibitions as well as for all presentation and display areas in sales rooms, multifunction rooms and private residences.

Luminaire spacing up to 1.5x offset from wall for uniform floodlighting

Maximum offset from the wall is the room height

Lens wallwashers

As with the Optec spotlights, the separate transformer housings on these lens wallwashers are also fixed to the adapters on rotatable mountings. The light heads are positioned on the side and can be tilted. Each lens wallwasher is fitted with a wallwasher attachment. This features a lens and the typical ERCO wallwasher reflector. Low-voltage halogen lamps up to 100W/12V or metal halide lamps up to 150W can be used. There is a version for 70W metal halide lamps suitable for DALI control technology.

Asymmetrical light distribution for highly uniform wallwashing in restaurants, cafés, wine bars as well as entrance and exhibition areas.

Luminaire spacing up to 1.5x offset from wall

Wallwashers

The wallwashers can be recognised by their rectangular and triangular housing form. They are cast aluminium or made of aluminium profiles and powder-coated white or silver. Due to the optimised design of the reflector, these wallwashers cannot be tilted. The small housings are mounted on the 3-circuit adapter; the longer housings are mounted with an additional mechanical adapter. Low-voltage halogen lamps of 50W, tungsten halogen lamps up to 150W, compact fluorescent lamps up to 55W, metal halide lamps up to 70W and fluorescent lamps up to 54W are to be used. There is a version for 35W metal halide lamps suitable for DALI control technology.

Luminaire arrangement

Minimum offset from the wall: intersection of the 20° line with the ceiling plane

To achieve the most uniform wall illumination:
luminaire spacing should equal the offset from the wall

Luminaire spacing up to 1.5x offset from wall

Luminaires

In this product range the housings use the basic triangular form of the floodlights. They are also made of aluminium profile and are powder coated in white. The electrical connection is made using 3-circuit adapters each with an additional mechanical adapter. Compact fluorescent lamps as well as T26 and T16 fluorescent lamps up to 2x58W are used in three of the housing sizes. Darklight reflectors with 30° cut-off angles or white louvres restrict the light emission.

Wide beam axially symmetrical light distribution for general lighting wherever flexible use of luminaires on track systems is required, e.g. in sales areas, to follow the contours of counters, in libraries or offices.
