Sharp-edged patterns are projected onto surfaces using gobos, while structured lenses produce soft-edged patterns. The framing attachment provides a projection of adjustable, square light surfaces to accentuate images. Structured lenses can be used to create additional light effects in the illuminated area.

Light effects produced by gobos or structured lenses can be given additional coloured accents using filter foils. This is done by fitting one or more of the foils in front of the projection lens.
