The Hi-trac light structure is able to support heavy loads and allows a wide spacing between the suspension points. Hi-trac is a 72mm high aluminium profile section available in two versions: On the one hand, as an ERCO track with an empty upper compartment for cables and, otherwise as an indirect luminaire for T16 fluorescent lamps with ERCO track contained in the lower part. All ERCO spotlights, floodlights and wallwashers with 3-circuit adapters, DALI adapters or transadapters can be used on the track. Luminaires can be fitted as uplights into the upper empty compartment. Hi-trac enables highlighting or washlighting to be combined with indirect lighting. Numerous connectors are available, allowing wall or ceiling mounting and the construction of rightangled structures.

To use the Hi-trac tracks and the Hi-trac light structure for a DALI application, the same conductors are used in the track, but just connected differently: only one conductor carries the circuit current, the other two conductors are used for the control signal. Special DALI accessories ensure that the track is correctly installed. This arrangement ensures the optimum logistics and availability of DALI track systems. It also means that existing track installations can be economically retrofitted with ERCO DALI technology.
Spotlights are fitted with DALI adapters for the mechanical and electrical connection and also for the control signals.
