Light guidance in LED luminaires
The Trion wallwasher photometrics with LEDs are characterised by efficiency and a highly uniform brightness distribution enabling optimum luminaire spacing. The Spherolit lenses with wide or deep beam options permit adjustment of the light distribution to suit the relevant lighting task.

The wide beam version of the Trion ceiling washlights with LED is ideal for the efficient illumination of hallways and corridors.

Light guidance in LED luminaires
Other characteristic features of the Trion LED wallwashers include the absence of spill light, especially at the mounting surface, and excellent glare control for good visual comfort. The varychrome RGBW versions extend the application of Trion to include effective illumination of ceilings using coloured light or high-quality white light with variable colour temperature.

Deep beam
Large ceiling areas are effectively illuminated using the deep beam version.

Lighting guidance
Along with LEDs, Trion wallwashers are also available with conventional light sources to offer designers application-related alternatives with appropriate characteristics.

Trion ceiling washlights
The Trion ceiling washlight for conventional light sources is provided with a reflector lens that combines two advantages: while large areas of the ceiling are illuminated, the wall area is not illuminated. Two cut-off shields provide variable control in the main axis of the luminaire. Ceiling washlights are ideal for the lighting of rooms with either high or vaulted ceilings.

Trion uplights
Uplights are often preferred for indirect lighting in rooms. The basic distinguishing feature in contrast to ceiling washlights is that their reflector geometry provides a defined light distribution and a higher light output ratio. The reflector geometry of the Trion uplights was designed specifically to maximise the light output ratio for indirect workplace lighting.

Trion ceiling washlights ensure ceiling illumination of exceptional uniformity. Two adjustable cut-off shields restrict the projected beam to the precise area to be illuminated. If both cut-off shields are closed, the beam angle is 35°. The angle between the wall on which the luminaire is mounted and the edge of the beam on the ceiling is adjustable.

If the rear cut-off shield is accurately adjusted, the ceiling can be illuminated beyond the Trion luminaire without light spilling on the wall.

If the front cut-off shield is adjusted, the ceiling is illuminated up to a width of well over 12m. Depending on the size of the room, it can make sense to illuminate the ceiling from both opposite walls.

The cut-off shield in LED versions for warm white and neutral white restricts the projected beam in the main axis to suit the application precisely.

Varychrome RGBW
The light of varychrome RGBW luminaires is produced by individually regulated warm white, red, green and blue LEDs. This ensures a very good colour rendering, infinite adjustment of the colour temperature and coloured light with high colour saturation.

Dimming via circuit or DALI
Trion LED luminaires in warm white or neutral white can be controlled using external trailing edge dimmers. This makes them ideal for energy-efficient upgrades to existing lighting installations that are often equipped with this widely used dimmer technology. Alternatively, Trion wallwashers are also available as DALI-compatible Light Clients.
