The special light distribution of the Atrium Uplights is highly suitable for the indirect illumination of rooms or to highlight large areas of ceiling. A horizontal diffuser improves the quality of light producing a high degree of uniformity on the ceiling. Excellent visual comfort is provided by the high glare control of the Darklight reflector. The compact design of the flush-plastered luminaire produces a highly aesthetic quality and creates a significant detail on the wall.
The Multichrome Uplight means that rooms can be illuminated using different colours of light. Multichrome refers to the technique of mixing different colours of light by switching the lamps. Seven different colours are possible by combining the three coloured fluorescent lamps: the three primary colours red, green and blue, and four additional secondary colours. Due to the spectral properties of coloured fluorescent lamps, all the colours of light produced have a pastel character. The horizontal diffuser produces a uniformly mixed colour on the ceiling.
