Lens wallwasher
For certain applications, however, the classic lens wallwasher technology proves more suitable due to its perfect uniformity across the entire wall - relevant for museums or particular representative areas in architecture. The wallwasher attachment also provides improved shielding against glare. Consequently, both wallwasher technologies are now a component part of ERCO´s extensive range of lighting equipment for vertical illumination.

Spherolit wallwasher
In terms of its basic shape, dimensions and focal point, the Spherolit reflector, wallwash, is no different from spotlight reflectors, i.e. it can also be replaced by other versions without tools. The reflector surface, however, stands out clearly due to its specially shaped spherolites, and a Softec lens replaces the usually clear safety glass. The light distribution of the Spherolit wallwasher is designed so that a focal emphasis is placed on the upper third of the wall, while providing general illumination of high uniformity. The new wallwasher technology has also resulted in raising light levels over the illuminated area.
