Light ServerThe Light Server is a DALI controller that stores system and scene data and provides the control functions. Its compact design gives it great flexibility when choosing a mounting location. The ERCO Light Studio software is included with every Light Server. A PC can be connected via the USB interface.

Scalability
DALI protocol limits the number of addresses in a conventional DALI system to 64. ERCO Light System DALI goes beyond this limit with the Light Server 64+, which can be networked with other Light Servers of the same type through an Ethernet interface. The Light Server 64 can handle up to 64 DALI addresses allowing it to cope with many typical smaller lighting control applications. Larger installations with over 64 addresses can be implemented by networking up to twelve Light Server 64+ units via the integrated Ethernet interfaces. This allows up to 768 DALI addresses to be handled; plus the number of Light Changers that can be connected is also correspondingly multiplied.
Automatic setup
A well conceived, automatic setup process allows the ERCO Light System DALI to be quickly and easily commissioned, have its functionality checked and be handed over by the electrician without the use of an external PC. In this process, a series of standard light scenes designed to suit the most common requirements are also installed.
