Area Net is a complete modular system suitable for controlling light either in individual rooms or entire buildings. Up to 16 rooms can be combined in one group. In one group, up to 128 circuits can be operated. A max. of 15 mutually independent groups are possible. All components are connected to a shared field bus. When setting up the system, the following rules should be observed: the total cable length should not exceed 500m and the distance between two components must be no more than 320m. If greater cable lengths are required, amplifiers (repeaters) for the bus signals must be implemented.
