Midipoll Bollard luminaires
The Midipoll bollard luminaire not only offers effective illumination of areas or paths, but also makes its presence known in a subtle fashion. It is therefore used both during the day and at night as a defining element whilst providing orientation. The Dark Sky technology shields pedestrians and drivers from glare and prevents spill light from being emitted above the horizontal. The Midipoll emits light downwards and spreads it widely across the ground. The cross-shaped aluminium profile elegantly formed of four parabolas gently emits grazing light and connects the cylindrical luminaire head with the base.

Midipoll Dark Sky Technik
Dark Sky technology ensures that, in the interest of both the environment and people, the light is only projected where it is required. Dark Sky compatible luminaires such as Midipoll bollards have a precise light guidance system and a defined cut-off angle for optimum visual comfort. A crucial consideration for bollard luminaires is to ensure that no light is emitted above the horizontal plane.
The cover glass of the bollard luminaire is fully concealed from view. A lens spreads the light onto the ground but also illuminates the cross-shaped aluminium profile to provide a discreet focal point. The Midipoll bollard luminaire for LEDs uses a recalculated prism lens made of plastic.
The light of the high-power LEDs directed perpendicularly downwards is guided by refracting the light on the upper and bottom side of the lens to result in a wide light distribution on the ground.
Midipoll provides various mounting options: concrete anchor, ground socket or mounting plate. The double cable entry at the mounting place enables easy through-wiring.
