Low-voltage halogen lamps are more energy efficient than ordinary incandescent lamps and retain their brilliant light, power and colour throughout their life. Low-voltage halogen lamps are small and robust; they come in various sizes and wattages and can be capsule or available as reflector lamps, i.e. with coolbeam or metal reflectors. High protection mode downlights are suitable for the transitional areas between indoors and outdoors. Typically they are used for balconies, porches, cantilevered roofs and covered terraces.

In indoor areas where protection against moisture or dust is required, they ensure high-quality lighting even in these harsh environmental conditions. In addition, the diffuser technology of the downlights increases the visual comfort of the Darklight reflectors.
