Axis Walklight

Axis Walklight has a glare free system for the lighting of stairs and paths. The LED module is completely concealed from view for optimal visual comfort. A light sparkle on the rectangular, lens-like cover glass reveals the light emission. The reflector produces a flat and wide beam illuminating the steps all the way to the edge.

Indirect step lighting

With step lighting, it is imperative that the LEDs are well screened to ensure that there is no glare for people going up the stairs. In the Axis Walklight, the light guidance takes place indirectly. The LED module is concealed from view.

Light directing

Because the direct component of the light from the LEDs is shielded, this is a totally indirect lighting system. This ensures very high glare control and good visual comfort. The luminous flux of the LEDs is defined by the reflector. The reflector produces a widespread light distribution across the step. The front lens surface, however, maintains a low luminance. Glass and housing are bonded together to ensure impenetrability and is in keeping with the minimalist design of the luminaire.

Varychrome technology

In the Varychrome Axis Walklight, LEDs in the three primary colours of red, green and blue can create any desired colour hue. The practical advantages of a maintenance-free, glare-free and energy-saving lighting system for stairways and paths are therefore combined with the option of adding coloured accents to architecture.
