Focalflood Floodlights
The Focalflood range produces a wide light distribution along the one axis, with the focal point on the other. With a focused narrow beam at right angles to the lamp axis, the luminaires can be placed closer to objects than conventional wide beam floodlights. They are, therefore, particularly suitable for efficient lighting of façade surfaces as well as trees. At the same time, Focalflood also offers exceptionally high visual comfort with a cut-off angle of up to 50°; passers-by, traffic users and people inside the building all benefit from its all-round glare control. This is all possible thanks to the special design of the reflector contour and reflector surfaces.

Focalflood
The Focalflood floodlights produce a wide light distribution along the x-axis, with the focal point on the y-axis. In contrast to conventional wide beam floodlights, their highly focused light distribution at right angles to the lamp axis allows the luminaire to be placed closer to objects.
In situations with little space between the luminaire and the facade, the Focalflood floodlight efficiently allows the light to graze the façade. The light distribution along the other axis provides economical lighting to produce a uniform level of brightness across the width of the façade.
When mounted in a row along the building, the broad light distribution and its even gradient ensure uniform façade illumination.
The Focalflood luminaire has a very narrow beam angle towards the wall and a wide light distribution along the wall, allowing the light to graze a wide area without producing any spill light. In addition to the daylight white with a colour temperature of 5,500K, a warm white version is also available with a temperature of 3,200K.
In addition to the neutral white colour temperature, the range now also features a warm white version in order that the light colour corresponds more closely to the material colour.
Varychrome technology
Colour mixing
Additive colour mixing enables the light from the Focalflood varychrome luminaires to produce a multitude of colour nuances. The individually controllable fluorescent lamps in the primary colours red, green and blue produce a smoothly changing, coloured light for illuminating wall surfaces or façades.
A diffuser and a Softec lens guarantee the optimum mixture of the three primary colours at the front lens; this permits the controlled colour of light to appear absolutely uniformly on the illuminated surface. To facilitate lamp replacement, the two-part front frame can be simply hinged open. The dust-tight and jet-water proof housing with IP65 protection mode is made of aluminium and features a multiple powder-coated finish.
Mounting
An extensive range of mounting accessories is shared by Beamer, Focalflood and Parscoop. These accessories always enable the optimum mounting position, whether on the building itself or in the ground.
