Beamer projectors, together with Focalflood and Parscoop floodlights, form a group of luminaires suitable for demanding outdoor lighting concepts. Common design elements and mounting components contribute to the coherency of this luminaire group. As the name implies, Beamer projectors - with their narrow-beam, rotationally symmetrical light intensity distribution - produce concentrated beams of light. For example, to illuminate sculptures, buildings or facade details such as inscriptions, but also trees and shrubbery.
Even over great distances, the segmented reflectors of the Beamer projectors produce an even, soft edged beam of light. The front section is designed as a snoot with integral cross-baffle and ensures optimum anti-glare protection. Various filters and lenses can be fitted inside the housing. Beamers are available in a range of housing sizes with a choice of low-voltage halogen lamps or metal halide lamps giving typical luminous flux values of 950 lumen (QT12 50W/12V) to 35000 lumen (HIT-DE 400W).
