The Grasshopper range of spotlights completes the range of low power rating outdoor projectors. Its design is characterised by the use of compact lamps and the corresponding electronic control gear ensures continuity. With their sturdy, multilayer powder-coated aluminium housing, their lockable hinge and versatile mounting possibilities. These luminaires are suitable for flexible accent lighting of facade details, objects such as company signs or sculptures, plants and trees. Lamp options of different wattages and reflectors of different beam angles allow the Grasshopper spotlights for metal halide lamps to be selected to suit specific lighting tasks. Their reflectors feature the innovative Spherolit technology that allows the option of spot, flood or wide-flood characteristics all from reflectors of the same size.

Alternatively, high-performance LEDs can be used, either in white or in Varychrome technology for a variable colour of light. The LED varychrome luminaires have a colour compensation feature to correct the manufacturing tolerances by calibrating the LED module. As a result, the same DALI control values will give the user exactly the same colour of light for all luminaires of a specific type. The control gear housing is separate from the light head and provides optimum operating conditions for the electronic components. The DALI-compatible luminaires have digital control gear through which each luminaire can be individually addressed - for instance using the ERCO Light System DALI with its integral ERCO Light Studio software.
