LC Recessed luminaires
The LC recessed luminaires for general and accent lighting have cast aluminium housings. The low brightness technology combines the maximum visual comfort with the maximum light output ratio. The recessed luminaires, with high protection ratings, are suitable for transitional areas between indoors and outdoors, such as entrance zones and arcades. In indoor areas where protection against moisture or dust is required, they ensure high-quality lighting even in demanding conditions.

Diffuser technology
The diffuser technology of LC optimises visual comfort. The diffuser effectively increases the size of the light source thereby reducing the luminance in the light aperture. The small hole in the center of the diffuser simplifies lamp replacement. Depending on the lamp, either translucent plastic diffusers or frosted glass diffusers are used.
Darklight technology
ERCO downlight reflectors are calculated using complex computer programs. This results in the reflectors having consistent cut-off angles for a variety of lamps and aperture sizes. Within the cut-off angle there will be no disturbing glare. This is the characteristic feature of the ERCO Darklight technology. The Darklight technology combines maximum visual comfort with maximum light output ratio and an exceptional balance between horizontal and vertical illuminance.
The standard cut-off angle of the ERCO downlight range is 40°; this is the angle between the horizontal ceiling surface and the diagonal from lamp to reflector edge. The standard range is complemented by downlights with 30° and 50° cut-off angles.
Reflector technology
The sculpture lens in the directional luminaire changes the round beam into an oval. A row of luminaires thus produces a light strip on the ground. When directed onto the wall, the light distribution can be used for wallwashing.
The narrow beam angle of the directional luminaires effectively highlights architectural details or accentuates objects. The lampholder carrier can be tilted up to 15°.
