The reflector geometry creates an asymmetrical light beam to achieve a very uniform illumination of surfaces. The luminaire slightly projects above the mounting level to ensure maximum uniformity. When used for wallwashing as a ceiling-mounted version, the light beam spreads the light from the very top of the wall at ceiling level. This produces a uniform impression of brightness on the surface from top to bottom.
