The information centre - an initiative of the City of Rotterdam and the local Chamber of Commerce - is located on the historic trading floor of the Rotterdam "World Trade Center" office complex. This futuristic pavilion was designed by architects from the mecanoo design offices in Delft. Thanks to clever scenographic lighting, original materials and surface finishes as well as extensive use of electronic media, it awakes optimism and enthusiasm for technology.
