The majority of the galleries of the Miho Museum are subterranean. Accentuating lighting allows the exhibits - antique artefacts from Japan, Asia Minor and Egypt - to emerge from the darkness. The light of the Gimbal recessed directional luminaires shapes the viewer's perception and makes the rooms tangible.
