Dov Charney, the charismatic young boss of the "American Apparel" company, has a mission: to prove that fashionable textiles can still be produced economically and ethically within the USA today. The company manufactures high-quality shirts, pullovers and underwear, especially on behalf of larger brands. However, the company's own label is also being increasingly marketed with success, and it's own collection sold via both the Internet and a globally expanding retail chain. As a prime example, we present the freshly opened store central Berlin.
