Lighting solutions
The new store on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin was designed by the Campana brothers and opened its doors on 14 December 2006. Close cooperation with well-known designers, architects and artists is a tradition with the Majorcan shoe company. A particular eyecatcher is the design of the walls, which are covered with stacked, printed paper banners from print shop waste. Torn-out elements create ever new graphic patterns, and customers in the store are specifically welcomed to join in the design process.
The lighting in the store is kept uniform as a ceiling-integrated solution with products from the Quadra system: downlights and directional luminaires are used to set off the goods, while the artistic wall design is appropriately highlighted by wallwashers. By fitting particularly energy efficient, long-life metal halide lamps, Camper truly lives up to its reputation as a progressive, environmentally-conscious company.
The entrance of the store is flanked by two cylinder facade luminaires, which not only provide an attractive grazing light effect on the façade of the elaborately renovated business establishment, but also light up the ground around the entrance.
