ERCO Nicetoile shopping centre Introduction Content

The department store in the city centre has to compete with a wealth of imposing buildings in the Mediterranean city on the Côte d'Azur. Therefore, it was decided after over 20 years of operation that the outside was in need of a radical face lift. Timer-controlled adjustment of the lighting to suit the time of day and season now ensures that the shopping centre integrates nicely into the urban scenery and is effectively accentuated. Every evening when twilight sets in, the illuminated glass facades of the building entrances shine as an eye-catcher in the corporate pink of the operator.

ERCO Nicetoile shopping centre Lighting solutions

The arched and matted glass facades house sophisticated lighting tools from ERCO. The luminaires are mounted in the gaps of the double facade. The white interior walls are used as secondary reflectors to ensure a uniform colour distribution.

The facade has been provided with 41 Focalflood floodlights with varychrome technology, controlled by an Area Net lighting control system. Flashing elements in the light setting are created by LED spotlights to provide well-received entertainment for the shoppers.
