Adequate lighting for meals, drinks and to perceive people at the table as well as mood lighting throughout the room to match the atmosphere make for ideal restaurant lighting. Two walls and the long bench enclose the table area. Wallwashers are used to define the room with vertical lighting. Recessed spotlights accentuate the tables. The projection spotlights create attractive light patterns on the wall.

Ambient luminescence, focal glow, play of brilliants

Wallwashing combines with accent lighting and projection to provide a complex lighting solution. Uniform wallwashing gives the impression of depth in the room. The accent light creates a focal point on the table decorated with flowers. The decorative light projections on the wall add to an interesting mood, providing a play of brilliants. The patterns can be matched to the theme in the restaurant.

Vertical lighting

Uniform floodlighting of the right wall emphasises the structure of the room. The reflection of the light at the same time illuminates the row of tables along the wall.

Floodlighting and vertical lighting

Oval light beams efficiently illuminate the whole table with directed light. This brilliant light lets glass, china and meals sparkle in attractive splendour. The wallwashing on the right gives the room direction.

Accent lighting and vertical lighting 1

Compared to floodlight distribution with oval light beams, accent lighting for the tables creates a concentrated light mood. The light/dark contrasts produce a more private atmosphere than homogenous general lighting.

Accent lighting and vertical lighting 2

The direction of the room can be changed by lighting the left wall instead of the right one. The illuminated wall emphasises the depth of the room and prevents the impression of a dark corridor.
