The 200-year-old company steeped in tradition invented the most elegant suit for special occasions: the smoking. Its premises in London are bathed in ERCO light to provide a classic ambience.
The premises are structured into two areas. The ground floor accommodates the tailor's workshop where measurements are taken and the fine fabrics are cut to measure. The first floor offers some 2000 articles of gents' outfit made of silk, tweed and cashmere.
The lighting concept uses recessed ceiling luminaires from the Quadra range: downlights for horizontal, lens wallwashers for vertical illuminance. Low-voltage halogen lamps ensure optimal colour rendition and brilliance, while traditional brass chandeliers provide a decorative "play of brilliants".
