ERCO track
Recessed, surface-mounted or suspended ERCO track, with or without ceiling washlighting, provides the ideal basis for flexible lighting design in galleries and museums. Various accessories are needed according to the type of control: articles for 3-phase installation enable the dimming or switching of three separate circuits on the track. Connection components to the DALI installation enable individual control via the DALI protocol. As supplementary parts, safety plugs, picture hooks and adapters with cables for pendant luminaires can also be integrated into the system. Emergency lighting with single battery luminaires is also possible.
ERCO track adapters
ERCO luminaires for track are mounted without tools and no electrical training is needed for their installation. The adapter on the luminaire functions as both mechanical fixing and as the electrical connection. Firstly the mechanical connection to the track is established. With 3-phase installations the circuit is then set via a rotary button on the adapter. Several ERCO luminaires are equipped with transadapters. Here the control gear is accommodated in the track adapter. These slightly larger transadapters cannot be installed in ERCO point outlets but only in the track.
ERCO control gear
ERCO develops its own control gear for spotlights, floodlights and wallwashers. Designers can select between switchable, phase-dimmable or DALI-dimmable control units. The switchable version is a cost-efficient option. To illuminate individual works of art or control maximum illuminance due to conservation requirements, the brightness of the LEDs can also be set on the luminaire via a potentiometer with phase-dimmable ERCO control gear. The brightness of DALI-dimmable luminaires can be regulated dimmed down to 0.1% and is flicker-free across the complete dimming range, meaning the light is suitable for film recording.
