Lighting design and the correct use of luminaires are discerning topics. Scenographic lighting concepts bring in additional design dimensions that are frequently only touched upon in the training of specialist planners. This is why communicating application knowledge is more important than ever at ERCO. At the light factory's headquarters in Lüdenscheid, Germany and in its showrooms around the world, seminars and workshops continuously take place—for students, architects, lighting designers and engineers. Depending on the country, these are officially recognized professional training courses and are registered with various architects' chambers.
We currently have no architect seminars planned. Are you interested? Simply send us an email or if you prefer, place your request here.
In our light seminars, experienced architects and lighting designers provide university groups with detailed expertise in lighting design and the perception of light, lamps and light sources, and architectural, accent and general lighting. In addition to communicating the fundamentals of lighting technology and perception, the aim of the seminars is to establish expertise in lighting design in order to develop and specify designs in accordance with lighting design criteria during the course of study. Thanks to the modular structure of the teaching, the content of the individual seminars can be modified to the requirements of the different disciplines and curricula. The light seminars are free of charge for university groups and can be booked by the professorship according to agreed dates.
We currently have no light workshops for college groups planned. Are you interested? Simply send us an email or if you prefer, place your request here.
