Human Centric Lighting
A lighting concept that places people, with their visual, biological, and emotional needs, at its center. The key influencing factors are temporal changes in lighting, light spectrum, lighting level, and spatial light distribution. The aim is to optimize visual performance, subjective experience, and → visual comfort while also taking into account the non-visual effects of light. These include short- and long-term as well as circadian responses that influence biological rhythms, alertness, and well-being.
