SDCM

SDCM (Standard Deviation of Color Matching) is the measure used to describe the color tolerance of light sources based on the standard deviation of a chromaticity coordinate within the CIE color space. A low SDCM value indicates minimal perceptible color differences between several luminaires of the same type. SDCM thus serves as a practically relevant metric for assessing the color uniformity of lighting installations. The smaller the SDCM value, the tighter the color tolerance.
