Spherolit lens

An optical lens system with microstructures for precisely shaping and distributing a luminaire's luminous flux. Larger radii of curvature in the microstructure deflect the light rays more strongly, thereby enabling a wider light distribution. Because they share the same external geometry, Spherolit lenses can be interchanged to achieve different light distributions, allowing a single luminaire to cover a flexible range of lighting tasks.
