Differentiated light distributions for shop lighting
ERCO provides shop designers with seven interchangeable light distributions: from 6° narrow spot for accenting tiny details to 80° extra wide flood distribution for wide-area illumination from short distances. The result: the beam angle can be selected independently of the external design of the luminaire to achieve ideal visual experiences. The lens systems developed and produced in-house are classified into three lighting types: Spotlights, floodlights and wallwashers.
Spotlights – accent lighting with maximum precision
Accents guide the view to emphasise individual products. Not only the quality of the light beam but also the efficiency of the ERCO optic is unique. Particularly with small beam angles, the ERCO Spherolit lens system achieves up to 10 times the illuminance compared to conventional module reflector solutions with identical connected load.

Floodlights – wide-area lighting from short distances
Floodlights are suitable for the uniform illumination of large-sized products or merchandise groups. In addition to wide rotationally symmetric light distributions, ERCO also offers oval light distribution with a width-to-height ratio of 1:4. Thanks to the interchangeable optic strategy, this lens can be conveniently rotated in 90° steps in rectangular heads and continuously in round luminaire heads.

Floodlights are suitable for the uniform illumination of large-format products or merchandise groups. Wallwashers – perfectly uniform vertical lighting
ERCO wallwashers generate maximum horizontal and vertical uniformity even with wide luminaire spacing. This is suitable on the one hand for walls with shelving. On the other, uniform illumination with a high impression of brightness and spatial depth is possible with just a few wallwashers.
