For conference tables, general lighting via downlights with oval wide flood is ideal. With good glare control, these create high vertical brightness for the clear illumination of faces. The correct positioning of luminaires over the conference table ensures good legibility of digital wall projections. Added value of downlights with extra wide flood: - uniform illumination of the table - good facial illumination

Rule of thumb for arranging downlights

For linear arrangements and uniform lighting, 1.5 times the height (h) of the luminaire above the working plane can be used as the approximate luminaire distance (d) between two recessed luminaires with extra wide flood light distribution. Arrangement: d ≤ 1.5 x h Tip for luminaire selection: Recessed luminaires have a discreet appearance with low room heights because of their almost completely concealed light source.
