"Interlude by Tomislav Topic" / One Holland Village, Singapore
For those who love bold, abstract art, keep your eyes peeled for Interlude by German artist Tomislav Topic. His colorful installation is made of 410 lacquered steel panels in 41 colors, hidden in plain sight across the roof. "It was challenging to create a piece for Singapore’s weather conditions, but I wanted to bring a sea of colors to the Singapore sky," says Tomislav, inviting everyone to look up and get lost in the hues.
ERCO's Lightscan ceiling washlight was mounted on the columns in pairs underneath the artwork, with the luminaires shining upwards in 3000 K to illuminate the installation. The warm light brought out the warmer tones of the installation, with a distance of around 5 meters between light at artwork.
One Holland Village
The first-of-its-kind, low-rise urban lifestyle hub in Singapore, inspired by the iconic rhythm and language of the surrounding shophouses and streets.
Complementing the porous nature of its terrain, shops are designed to integrate with open spaces where the community can gather. By linking people, public spaces and amenities together, this new space will be an extension of the authenticity and bohemian charm of the Village.
Offering a range of up-market dining, shopping and lifestyle options over 13,500 square meters of new retail, Holland Village will bring new vibrancy and amenities to the community.
