The First Americans Museum is the largest museum for indigenous Americans apart from the Smithsonian's Native American Museum, and one of the largest exhibition-based museums. The exhibition spaces are illuminated by Parscan spotlights, with general lighting via Optec spotlights.

Parscan spotlights were used for all exhibition lighting. Here, a lower wattage could be achieved compared to spotlights from other manufacturers. This means a lower utilisation of energy.
