SDCM

SDCM (Standard Deviation of Colour Matching) is the measure used to describe the colour tolerance of light sources based on the standard deviation of a chromaticity coordinate in the CIE colour space. A low SDCM value indicates small perceptible colour differences between several luminaires of the same type. SDCM thus serves as a practically relevant parameter for assessing the colour uniformity of lighting installations. The smaller the SDCM value, the tighter the colour tolerance.
