Spherolit lens

An optical lens system with microstructures for the precise shaping and distribution of a luminaire's luminous flux. Larger curvature radii of the microstructure result in a stronger redirection of the light rays, thereby enabling a wider light distribution. Because their external geometries are identical, Spherolit lenses can be exchanged to achieve different light distributions and thus cover flexible lighting tasks with a single luminaire.
