Transforming a house into a home
After purchasing Villa Lakeside in Gothenburg, the new owners' vision for the design of the rooms quickly became clear: a warm, inviting and intimate atmosphere was to be created—to turn architecture into a home. ERCO was chosen to support this vision with high quality lighting: Downlights, wallwashers, recessed spotlights and track-mounted spotlights were used to create a warm atmosphere. The fixtures are in harmony with the interior design and fulfil the demands of the application.
High standards of lighting quality and precise lighting control are crucial elements in private residential settings. Choosing luminaires with a small size was important, as there are low ceiling heights in some areas and the fixtures perfectly recede visually into the background.
The ground floor is illuminated with Axis recessed spotlights. The miniaturized light heads with a diameter of just 17mm and low glare LED optics offer the optimum balance of performance and discreet appearance for such applications.
The small, visually appealing spotlights are illuminating the SPA area of the Villa as well.
A Uniscan framer is precisely illuminating a painting in the living room with a perfect result—totally glare free and with sharp edges.
