Cantax for track
The Cantax spotlight range combines advanced lighting technology with a design to produce distinctive architectural accent lighting. For these luminaires, the Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa created stylistic features that are both elegant and precise whilst consisting of simple geometrical shapes such as cuboids and cylinders. The spatial relationships of these basic shapes change depending on use resulting in an intriguing architectural impression. Featuring the Spherolit technology, Cantax produces a quality of light that meets the highest requirements from upmarket residential to shops, restaurants and galleries. The Spherolit technology is easily replaced without tools, making it easy to change light distribution patterns to suit various lighting applications.
The specially designed joints of Cantax guarantee lasting precision, effortless alignment and a secure fit. The end positions are defined by stops.

Narrow spotUsed to accentuate small objects with high light intensity or to project over greater distances between the luminaire and the target object. Beam angle < 10°.
Articles (12)
SpotThis is the standard characteristic for accent lighting for objects of all kinds, especially to reveal the three-dimensional shape. Beam angle: 10°-20°.

FloodTo efficiently illuminate larger objects or to emphasise spatial zones such as a specific area. Beam angle: 25°-35°.
Articles (14)
Wide floodTo give a flexible, flood illumination of surfaces and spatial zones, especially in retail presentation. Beam angle > 45°.

Heat managementERCO places particular importance on heat management. This ensures that LED modules operate within their safe temperature range, achieving rated life and output for the specified power throughout their entire operational life.
Dimming on the spotlightCantax LED spotlights can be dimmed in two ways, which can also be combined. Firstly, every luminaire has an integrated potentiometer to adjust the luminous flux precisely and individually.
Dimming via circuitIn addition, ERCO´s newly developed control gear for the Cantax LED spotlights can also be operated by external trailingedge dimmers. This makes them ideal for an energyefficient renovation of existing lighting installations which are equipped with this widely used dimmer technology.
Varychrome RGBWThe modules of the varychrome RGBW luminaires consist of a combination of warm white and coloured LEDs. This allows for excellent colour rendering and infinite adjustment of the colour temperature.

Colour temperatureLight Clients with the RGBW LED module are displayed in Light Studio with the varychrome RGBW attribute. The colour temperature can be infinitely adjusted over a wide range using the relevant slider control in the software.
Coloured lightFor use with DALIcompatible varychrome RGBW technology luminaires, Light Studio features a colour wheel providing an intuitive and interactive means of selecting the light colours. The colour effect depends less on the illuminance than on colour saturation and different colour contrasts.
