Light optimises architectural features and dictates the human experience of a structure or space. ERCO Learning Experiences, based at Sub Base Platypus in North Sydney, provides industry with education on all aspects of the effective and sustainable use of light in different architectural contexts. Courses are suitable for architects, lighting designers, interior designers, landscape architects, engineers and facility managers who understand the role of light in architecture and design – practically, aesthetically, and environmentally.
Three-hour Workshops, presented in our ERCO Experience Centre in North Sydney, allow students to immerse themselves in different lighting concepts and truly understand the outcome of choices on site. One-hour Webinars presented from the Experience Centre via Zoom to one or multiple locations are an excellent introduction to the concepts, and one-hour Project Tours in the Sydney CBD (and other CBDs by arrangement) will open your eyes to how light is used in practice.
ERCO Learning Experiences qualify for Formal CPD Points. Under the ERCO Learning Experiences Loyalty Program, any student that completes 20 Formal CPD Points in a calendar year, will be rewarded with a personalized ERCO Lucy Task Light in a RAL colour of their choice.
ERCO Fundamentals Courses are open for registration year-round. Between April and June, the ERCO Learning Experiences CPD Accelerator sees scheduled Courses covering TEN lighting Fundamentals and Applications topics open for registration (three-hour Workshops and one-hour Project Tours). Applications topics are also available throughout the year, on request (minimum six pax students). All registrations are via EventBrite. To arrange an on-request Course, teams and professional groups can contact ERCO Events Co-ordinator, Momoko Noshimoto by email, m.noshimoto@erco.com.
