Minotti Flagship Store by pesch - design & art at Alter Wall 32 in Hamburg
The new pesch Minotti flagship store at Alter Wall 32, Hamburg, is a place where Italian design, Nordic clarity and international art meet high-end technology in an inspiring dialogue. Across three floors, the store exclusively introduces northern Germany to the exquisite living concepts of the renowned Italian luxury furniture brand. Minotti unites timeless elegance, meticulous craftsmanship and refined materials to stage its interiors with style. The generous spaces within the historic building offer the perfect backdrop for a signature interior concept: clean, modern and warm.
The technical design - covering smart electrical systems, audio, the bespoke video wall and TVs - was conceived and executed by Stephan Koll and his specialist team at SK Systems GmbH. Pesch is Germany’s leading outfitter in the premium segment, collaborating with top experts in every field, such as SK Systems for audio, video and lighting.
A particular highlight awaits in the basement: the pesch Gallery. In collaboration with Barlach Halle K, the gallery regularly hosts rotating exhibitions of contemporary art. The contrast between curated elegance and avant‑garde expression creates a striking space that transcends the traditional interior showroom. The result is a cultural hub nestled in the heart of Hamburg.
The new Minotti by pesch store on Alter Wall is far more than a showroom. It invites you to experience design and art in a fresh, new way. The lighting concept at the new Minotti by pesch flagship store plays a key role in showcasing interiors, technical design and art spatially. The track system is discreetly integrated into the ceiling architecture, letting the technical infrastructure recede and enabling a focused, tranquil spatial experience.
Installed are Parscan InTrack spotlights, offering precise and flexible lighting through exceptional glare control and a variety of beam distributions. Crucial are the spot and narrow‑spot characteristics, with extremely tight beam control, which enable a dramatic light‑and‑dark effect. By directing light precisely, strong contrasts highlight selected pieces - furniture is presented like sculptures, with depth, form and purpose.
The lighting design was created by ERCO in close collaboration with esteemed Hamburg-based technical designer and multimedia expert Stephan Koll (SK Systems GmbH). Stephan Koll brings extensive national and international experience in lighting high‑end retail, museum, private residences and super‐yacht environments. His signature touch was pivotal to this project: He regarded light not just functionally, but as an integral part of the overall experience—like a silent conductor defining sightlines, articulating materials and delivering an almost museum‑like aura. The result is a finely orchestrated interplay of space, light and objects - a flagship store that invites you not only to see, but to truly observe.
